
Congratulations to our Teachers of the Year who were recognized at Region IX's Teacher of the Year Luncheon today. Michelle Wilson, Donovon Grier, and Sara Bushong were chosen by a staff vote as City View Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year this past Spring. Our District is blessed to have amazing staff members who work every day to empower kids to be successful! Pictured with Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Grier are our two new campus Principals, Mr. Charlie Stone and Mrs. Kim Williams.

Today the City View Board of Trustees named Dr. Jesse Thomas the lone finalist for the City View ISD Superintendent. Dr. Thomas has served as the City View High School principal since July 2022 and has a total of 20 years of experience in education.

Happy first day of summer!
Summer school calls are being made this week. If your child needs to be at summer school, you will receive a call!
Summer school information:
Summer school will begin May 30, and EOC students will retest the week of June 19. Summer school will officially end June 22. Summer school will start at 8:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. Students will be provided a free breakfast and lunch each day.


For those unable to attend tonight's graduation in person, the ceremony is scheduled as a livestream event. Please visit City View's YouTube page at www.youtube.com/@cityviewisd2516 or colonialchurch.com/cityview. In the event, there are technical issues with the livestream, video of the ceremony will be captured and posted to the City View ISD website for viewing.

Reminder: Graduation is TONIGHT! Please join us at Colonial Church to send off the senior class of 2023. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the ceremony begins at 8:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
