2nd grade visited the science lab and used root beer floats to learn about solids, liquids, and gas

Mrs. Hutson's 5th grade classes were able to visit the science lab today. Ask your students what they learned!



The high school girls’ volleyball team greeted our elementary students this morning. Some even handed out bracelets to our kids. We love our high school athletes!




Even teachers spend time learning. Today teachers learned about data tracking and RTI to improve our interventions and teaching.


Parents please make sure you are displaying your child’s number in your window at dismissal. This helps speed up our dismissal process. Thank you for your help with this.

5th grade students will be bussed down to the high school tomorrow to attend the homecoming pep rally. Wear your City View shirts and let’s show some school spirit!

Mrs. York and Mrs. Bursey’s class want to thank the community members who sponsored them. They received their first free book today!



Students at the elementary school began a fundraiser with Big Kahuna. Students will be bringing home packets today. Sales will run through September 27 and products will be delivered October 25. Students are able to earn some really cool prizes!





Mr. Bushong and Mr. Moffett provided an inspirational message to the Mustang Manners club this afternoon. We had a great kickoff!



No school on Monday! Enjoy an extra day off.

The pep rally themes/dress up days are attached. Next week is homecoming. There are dress up days all week. They are at the bottom of the document. Students may dress up if they choose, but must remain within school dress code guidelines.

Mrs. Beshear’s class has been working towards a goal. They had to fill their jar with warm fuzzies. When it was filled they were able to take their shoes off while they worked in class. Parent’s, ask the kids what they had to do to earn a warm fuzzy!





4th grade students worked hard on editing and author’s purpose in class today. Parents, ask them how they did on their assessment.





We had some of our high school football players visit this morning. They were kind enough to open car doors for the elementary students. We love our high school athletes!



Mrs. Brewer was the guest speaker in Mrs. Butler, Mrs. York and Mrs. Bursey’s classes. She was able to talk to the students about her adventures at Broken Bow Lake.

5th grade has been studying subjects and predicates. Today they were able to test their knowledge on Blooket. Mrs. Baley’s class challenged Mrs. Moffett to a game. She was in first place till the very end when a student pulled ahead and beat her.
