Parents, we like to support our high school athletes by dressing up like they do for football games. We will follow the same dress up theme days as the secondary campus. Students still need to remain within dress code guidelines when dressing up. This Friday’s theme is “camo”.

The elementary had quite a few "senior citizens" teaching classes today. Next Friday is Camo day!

5th grade students are working on creating Google Slides about science lab safety. They also began working in their interactive math journals

Yesterday 3rd grade read "Stick and Stone" and wrote about how they help and stick up for their friends!

Parents, please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child each day. Thanks for your help with this!

Grandparent’s Day is Friday, September 17. Forms were sent home today. Please RSVP by September 3. Please do not send money with students. Adults can pay at the line. Cost is $4 per adult. We cannot wait to see all our grandparents!

Mrs. Yenetchi’s students were showing how they could skip counting starting on numbers other than 0. When they finished they were able to have a brain break and sing and dance to a math video on the same topic. 2nd grade is so much fun!

Mrs. Dawkin’s class made sure they had nice, neat handwriting

Ms. Wright’s class worked hard on spelling during their station time today.

Mrs. Hilbers class started their first journal entry today. They were asked to write about their first meal

Music class is so much fun! Mrs, Seigler lets us sing and dance

Mrs. Bursey’s class had fun in centers this morning

Mrs. Butler’s class was learning how to write their names and Mrs Ferrell’s class was making poetry notebooks this morning

Please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child each day. We are using bottle fillers rather than water fountains again this year.

Parents we are asking that you begin to drop students off in the mornings rather than walking them to class beginning Monday. There are numerous staff at doors and throughout the hallways who will be able to help them get to class. 4th and 5th grade students can enter the doorway close to the big gym, pre-k, 2nd and 3rd grade can enter the doors in the middle of the courtyard, kinder and 1st grade can enter the door at the end of their hallway. Doors will open at 7:30 for students to enter and the tardy bell will ring at 7:50. Thank you for all your help and cooperation with this. We have had a wonderful start to the school year.
