Pre-K – 2nd Grade Field Day is Tomorrow!
We’re excited to celebrate Field Day with our Pre-K through 2nd grade students tomorrow on the Elementary Campus! Events will begin around 9:00 AM and should wrap up by 12:00 PM.
Kona Ice will be on campus, and students may bring money if they would like to purchase a snow cone.
If you plan to check your child out after Field Day, please do so directly with their homeroom teacher.
Please have your child wear their Field Day Shirt!
We’re looking forward to a fun and active day with our littlest Mustangs!

Today was a first! We celebrated our outgoing 5th grade class as they enter their junior high careers. We decided months ago to give these students a graduation since they didn't get one in Kindergarten due to COVID. Thank you to our PTO for partnering with us to make this special moment. This might be a new tradition!

We had a fun day at Coyote Ranch on our Attendance Field Trip!

If you bought field day shirts, students will be bringing shirts home today. Be on the lookout.

City View Elementary clothes closest is in need of youth girls sizes 7-12. In need of pants, sweats, and shorts that would meet dress code! If you are getting ride of clothes you can drop them off at our front office and let them know it's for Mrs. Straight (community in schools ).

Today, our 5th grade students had the exciting opportunity to tour the Junior High campus. They explored key areas of the school, including the 6th grade hallway, cafeteria, office, counselor’s area, and band hall. Students also learned about important aspects of junior high life such as pre-athletics, student expectations, and opportunities available to them next year. It was a great step in helping them feel more comfortable and prepared for the transition ahead!

What a week at City View! Our art show was a hit! So many talented student artists on display! Writing got a real world twist with virtual reality, and in math, students are building a smoothie stand using all kinds of math and science skills.
Unified Sports was rained out, but that didn’t stop our students from having a great time together. Wetzel’s class dove into project based learning with Minecraft Education...so cool to see!
Third grade teachers spruced up the hallway for the Math STAAR...it’s showtime! Second graders are acting out stories and building public speaking skills, and kindergarten continues laying the foundation with strong, confident readers.
Proud of all the creativity and learning happening every day! #itsabetterviewasamustang
