3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students wrapped up Testa Fiesta last week as they have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming STAAR tests! These 3 were the lucky winners of brand new Kindles thanks to a generous donation by Nacols Jewelry! Our kiddos are ready to tackle the STAAR tests and we wish them the best of luck!!

Get a Good Night’s Sleep!
Ensure your child gets at least 8–10 hours of sleep the night before to help with focus and stamina.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast
A balanced breakfast with protein and complex carbs (like eggs and toast or oatmeal with fruit) fuels brain power and helps maintain energy levels.
Keep It Positive and Calm
Offer encouragement like:
“You’ve worked hard—just do your best!”
Avoid pressure. A calm, confident tone from parents helps kids feel secure. Speak words of encouragement.

What a week it's been! Testa Fiesta is wrapping up in the best way! Our students have been working diligently during WIN time to review for STAAR, earning tickets along the way for their hard work and focus. Early Childhood is thriving with hands-on learning, and small group instruction is happening at every level to meet students where they are. We’re all about keeping learning engaging and fun! In Mrs. Barnhill’s class, students even got to play skee-ball as part of their STAAR review. That Mustang spirit shines through in everything we do! #ItsABetterViewAsAMustang

What a week! The 5th grade concert was so good! Hats off to the kiddos and Music Directors. PTO Bingo Night was so much fun. Thank you all for coming out. We love having you all in our building creating those precious moments! House Games! Don't forget to have your kid wear their house shirts on Thursday! It's a good time! And as always, the fun hands on learning going on everyday. A shout out to our teachers, paraprofessionals and community in schools for helping each day with pulling kids and working one on one or in small groups. Book Fair opens this week, Wednesday March 19th in the Library. The book fair will be open until March 28th. Online sales will be open until April 4th.
Tactual Art Day at Region 9. Kim Towry our Art Teacher provided the art lesson for vision students across our region. The kids had a blast. We are blessed to have partnered with Region 9 and thankful for the opportunity for Kim Towry to provide instruction! It was a good day!

What a week! We have baby chicks hatching in PreK, elementary supporting boys basketball going to the state tournament, unified sports group represented well, STAAR review and benchmarks, mustangs award winners, and House Games! Another Big week here at the View!
