Technology at City View ISD
The staff and administration at City View ISD strive to create an environment that will push our students to become more productive digital citizens and give them the tools to succeed in the connected world that we live in today. Part of this vision includes creating a culture of sharing and learning amongst not only students but also amongst staff and at the district level.
City View faculty and students are encouraged to participate in our Google For Education initiative. All faculty and students will utilize the many G-Suite for education platforms along with 1:1 Chromebooks for every student from 1st-12th grade.
In 2017, City View ISD was named one of only 10 Google Reference Districts in the state of Texas. According to Google, “Google for Education Reference Districts are districts that demonstrate excellence and thought leadership through the innovative use of technology, including G Suite for Education (formerly known as Google Apps for Education) and Chromebooks, to drive impact and positive learning outcomes.”
