Policy Development: Crafting and implementing policies that promote high educational standards and equity.
Budget Oversight: Ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support student learning and well-being.
Superintendent Supervision: Collaborating with and providing oversight for the Superintendent to ensure the district's strategic goals are met.
Curriculum and Instruction: Evaluating and approving curricula that meet the diverse needs of our students and prepare them for future success.
Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of school facilities to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
Community Engagement: Encouraging active participation from parents, students, teachers, and community members to foster a collaborative educational community.

The Board's responsibilities include:

Establishing District Vision and Policy: Adopting policies that support high-quality instruction, student success, and effective district operations.
Fiscal Stewardship: Managing district resources responsibly to maximize opportunities for students while maintaining transparency and accountability.
Superintendent Governance: Hiring, evaluating, and working closely with the Superintendent to implement the Board's vision and achieve the district's goals.
Student Achievement: Monitoring academic performance and supporting programs that prepare students for college, careers, military service, and lifelong success.
Facilities and Safety: Providing oversight for district facilities and supporting safe, secure, and welcoming learning environments for all students and staff.
Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with families, staff, students, and community members while encouraging open communication and meaningful involvement in the life of the district.
