Our school board is dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can achieve academic excellence and personal growth in a safe and supportive setting.

As elected representatives of our community, we are committed to making informed decisions that shape the future of our schools. Our responsibilities include:

  • Policy Development: Crafting and implementing policies that promote high educational standards and equity.
  • Budget Oversight: Ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support student learning and well-being.
  • Superintendent Supervision: Collaborating with and providing oversight for the Superintendent to ensure the district's strategic goals are met.
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Evaluating and approving curricula that meet the diverse needs of our students and prepare them for future success.
  • Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of school facilities to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Community Engagement: Encouraging active participation from parents, students, teachers, and community members to foster a collaborative educational community.

The City View ISD Board of Trustees is committed to providing leadership that supports student achievement, responsible stewardship of district resources, and strong partnerships with our families and community. As elected representatives, the Board works collaboratively to establish the vision, policies, and priorities that ensure every City View ISD student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

The Board's responsibilities include:

  • Establishing District Vision and Policy: Adopting policies that support high-quality instruction, student success, and effective district operations.
  • Fiscal Stewardship: Managing district resources responsibly to maximize opportunities for students while maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Superintendent Governance: Hiring, evaluating, and working closely with the Superintendent to implement the Board's vision and achieve the district's goals.
  • Student Achievement: Monitoring academic performance and supporting programs that prepare students for college, careers, military service, and lifelong success.
  • Facilities and Safety: Providing oversight for district facilities and supporting safe, secure, and welcoming learning environments for all students and staff.
  • Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with families, staff, students, and community members while encouraging open communication and meaningful involvement in the life of the district.

The Board of Trustees is dedicated to making thoughtful decisions that place students at the center of every discussion. Through integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we strive to ensure City View ISD remains a district where every student is empowered to reach their full potential.

We encourage our community to stay informed, attend Board meetings, and partner with us as we work together to build a bright future for the students of City View ISD.
