Today the Angelo State band played for our High School Band. The audition-only group from San Angelo consisting of music and non music majors performed pieces by Michael Markowski, Percy Grainger, Dakota Pederson, Rossano Galante. Thank you Dr. Alvis for bringing your group, and discussing the importance of staying involved wherever you may be!

The Theatre Department will be hosting a Lip Sync Battle for all 6th-12th grade students. If you are interested in participating, there will be an interest meeting in Ms. Toft’s portable on Tuesday March 26th at Jr. High Breakfast & after school from 4-4:30 PM. Since no bad weather days were needed this winter, there are a surplus of student minutes left over. Therefore, Friday, March 29th and Friday, May 17th have been changed to student holidays. Thursday, May 16th will be the last day of school, and it will be a full day 7:45-3:45.


We were so excited to recognize our students' accomplishments at our last school board meeting. Spring is a hectic time of year and our students are accomplishing amazing things through CTE, Athletics, and Academics. It's a better VIEW as a Mustang!

City View NHS members participated in leadership day with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, March 5th. They began with a college fair in which 38 universities were represented then listened to 5 top executives within the Dallas Maverick’s franchise. The night finished off with watching the Dallas Mavericks take on the Indiana Pacers.

On Friday, February 23rd, students competed in the Holliday Unified Basketball Classic event. Students participated in individual skills, team skills, and 5v5 competition against Burkburnett and Holliday. We are very proud of our students and their unified partners!






The City View FFA Ag Mechanics Marketplace Team was Reserve Division Wildlife Project behind the Grand Champion Overall Project! The "COLONEL" was truly a rank above the rest as it made the 7th overall protect and will sell as lot # 7 tomorrow at 12pm in the live @JAMShow Marketplace Auction! Congratulations to Sophomore Madelynn Hopkins & Senior Frank Ramos of the City View FFA Wildcard Outfitters!
