🎄✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer! ✨🎄
We’re so proud of our National Honor Society students! This year, they adopted 16 foster children for Christmas through the Wichita County Child Welfare program. Thanks to everyone who participated in bingo night 🎉 and other fundraisers throughout the year, this incredible act of kindness was made possible.
Together, we’ve helped make the holiday season brighter for these children. 💝 A big thank you to our amazing community for your generosity and support!

🏚️📜 US History Comes to Life: Hooverville Shelter Project 📜🏚️
Our students have been diving into the challenges of the Great Depression in Coach Gonzalez's class by building their own Hooverville shelters! This hands-on project gave them a chance to step into the shoes of those who lived through this difficult era, experiencing the creativity and resilience it took to survive.
During the Great Depression, many people who lost their homes built makeshift communities, called Hoovervilles, using whatever materials they could find. By recreating these shelters, students developed a deeper understanding of the struggles faced by so many during this time in history.
This project encourages empathy, problem-solving, and a greater appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit. Way to go, history-makers!

🍔🚚 Math in Action: Food Truck Fun! 🚚🍟
Our 6th-grade students have been hard at work in Mrs. Ponto's class, mastering decimals and percentages! Over the past few weeks, they’ve learned how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals, as well as find percents of a number. To put their skills to the test, they designed their very own food truck businesses!
🎨 They created trucks, flyers, and menus.
🧾 Took food orders to calculate subtotals, tax, tip, discounts, and grand totals.
💡 Learned how math applies to real-life situations in a creative and fun way!
Way to go, future entrepreneurs! 🌟 We’re so proud of their hard work and creativity.
