The City View FFA Range Evaluation team made history last Thursday, April 24, 2025, by winning the Texas FFA State Championship at the State CDE contest held at Tarleton State University. This victory secures their place in the National FFA Land, Range, and Homesite contest, where they will compete today, May 1, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
The team, coached by Joshua Hopkins, demonstrated exceptional skill and perseverance despite facing challenging weather conditions—rain, mud, and cold temperatures. Their hard work and determination earned them the title of Texas FFA State Range Champions, marking a significant achievement in FFA history for City View ISD.
