🚨🚨 Breaking news!! History has been made today in City View ISD. Freshman Sailor Utley became the first Mustang to compete for City View in UIL Swimming. She took home two first place finishes in the 2024 WFISD Fall Classic Swim Meet and established and set our first school records in swimming. Congrats Sailor! What a way to kick off a new program for City View! #itsabetterviewasamustang

One of the big changes is, due to Childress not having a second jV team, JV WHITE will stay home on Thursday and play Windthorst JV following the JH games. There is not a B team game this week for JH, so the jh boys will play with their respective grades. As always, all times and schedules are subject to change. All JH and HS football teams will play Iowa Park this week (3 Jh games @ IP Thursday, 2 JV games in City View Thursday, and varsity Friday @ IP). Notice the kickoff for varsity will once again be at 7pm instead of 7:30pm. Tickets for games at IP will be sold both online and at the gate. 9/11/24 Cross Country Meet!!!! Our Cross Country teams will travel to Chico tomorrow for their weekly meet. They have been putting in work in the early morning hours and showing great dedication! The kickoff for Friday night's varsity football game at Vernon has been changed to 7pm. Be loud and be proud! Streaming/media and other info will be released soon!

Here is the weekly schedule for both JH and HS football. JH pictures will be at 7:15am in ther gym. They will get dressed in the fieldhouse first and we will walk them up to the gym for pictures. Note: ​both JH games will be in ​Vernon on Thursday, JV ​White will play at Decatur on Thursday, and JV Blue will host Vernon at City View on Thursday. Varisty will cap the week off like always playing in Vernon on Friday night.

Throughout our home games, there may be LED "light shows" containing changing colors along with flashing/streaming lights. The shows run for approximately a minute or so and typically are used at the beginning, end or intermissions of gameplay such as touchdowns or quarter changes. If you are sensitive to flashing or streaming lights, please take your normal precautions when encountering these lights.

Don't forget there is NO cost for ANY City View students to attend our home games. Secondary students, please have your school badge for FREE entry. Tickets for all our home junior high and high school sports, along with our season passes are available on the City View website. For information about our City View Senior Citizen passes, please call 940-855-4042.
