Parents & students, please make sure all transfer paperwork is turned in to Mrs. Cerda in the office no later than Friday, May 19.
Students will not receive schedules for next year until all paperwork is returned.

The Jr. High Band received a 1 rating today at their festival! Even more importantly, they have all represented City View well. The directors were stopped by a lady who complimented our students for being so well-behaved and polite.

Mason Hill made history yesterday as the first EVER City View state champion in track & field, throwing the shot put 58'6.75! He set a new PR & school record and placed 1st in the state!
Emarei Brandon set a new PR & school record in high jump and finished 3rd in the state!
We are so proud of our student-athletes and all of their accomplishments!

IMPORTANT: Due to some logistical/scheduling changes, 6th-12th grade students who earned the May 15th attendance/behavior incentive field trip will be going to EpicWaters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie instead of Six Flags. A parent/guardian waiver MUST be signed in order for students to attend. Waivers are available for student pick up in our main office. We will still leave the campus at 8:30 AM after a grab and go breakfast and return at approximately 6 PM on Monday, May 15th. We had about 270 kids earn this reward which is amazing!
Reminder: The High School Awards Ceremony is TOMORROW (May 12) at 3:00 PM! Parents are encouraged to arrive at 2:45 in order to get through the check-in process and get seated. Parents received phone calls on Wednesday of this week if their student is receiving an award. Thank you!

Late post, but still proud! Last week our UIL Number Sense and Science teams competed and came away with 3rd place and 2nd place. Keagan Hollemans placed 1st in Number Sense and is headed to state!
What an awesome day! City View Senior Trip started with great food at Texas Live! and was followed by a Texas Rangers game as we celebrate the Class of 2023.

Today the seniors traveled to the Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum as part of a project-based unit in English IV. They explored many exhibits and learned what it meant to be an Upstander.
