It's ALWAYS a great day to be a Mustang! This morning, some of our varsity cheerleaders and football players woke up early and started their day at the elementary. Our football boys opened car doors and greeted students while our cheerleaders helped with the tattoo shop and went into classrooms to cheer with the kiddos.
Our Mustang cheerleaders are leading their annual "Mini Mustangs" cheer camp this September! This camp is open to kiddos pre-k through 6th grade. All payments and forms will be online, and September 15 is the last day to register for a shirt. Minis will perform with the big girls in October. We hope to see your mini Mustang there!

Aloha Mustangs! We are kicking off our 2023 football season tonight at Veteran's Field versus the Vernon Lions! Kick-off is at 7:30. Our teachers and students went all out for Hawaiian Day and our first spirit day of the year!
Our varsity cheerleaders and football players started their day early at the elementary. They helped sell tattoos and welcomed kids in from drop-off. It's a great day to be a Mustang!

Wow! What an incredible first week at City View Jr/Sr High. Our students hit the ground running. We started with our seniors meeting for senior sunrise, and our student-athletes stayed busy with a football scrimmage and volleyball tournament. Our band practiced their incredible upcoming show, and our teachers kept students engaged in the classrooms. There was lots of learning while having fun. This short week has set the tone for an exciting 2023-2024 school year. It's always a great day to be a Mustang!
Parents: Tomorrow, in their English class, if your child was here last year, they will receive the access code needed to log in to see their STAAR scores. Using this information, you can visit TexasAssessment.gov to get test results and resources, including each test question along with your child’s answer.
Don't forget we now offer Chromebook Insurance. The deadline to sign up is September 6th.
The secondary library will be open from 9:00-12:00 & 1:00-4:00 on Wednesday, August 16. Students are encouraged to come get their schedules, Chromebooks, and IDs if they have not already. Parents can also register their child in the front office if needed!
