Today, the Chargin', Thunderin', Mustang band competed in the Area Marching Band Contest. Rain, sleet, or shine, the Mustangs always put on a great show. Congratulations on a great season, band!
We also celebrated Senior Night today at our school pep rally and tonight at our game versus Holliday. It is always special to get all of our seniors together.

Big thanks to everyone it took to pull off our first Unified football game. Everyone came out to play, and everyone had FUN! Special thanks to ALL of our players and each individual who made tonight possible. Thank you to Mrs. Flippin for planning and coordinating everything- this would not have been possible without her!
Tomorrow is the 1st annual Unified Flag Football game at City View Independent School District !! We are ready and excited to play!!! Come out a little early to watch these students have the best time making fun memories with their friends!

Trunk or Treat is coming up! Please sign up for a Trunk if you are planning on participating. There will be free hotdogs and lots of candy!
Monday will be COLD. Our plan B is to move Trunk or Treat inside the high school. Either way we look forward to seeing everybody. 🍭 🍬

HOCO week was BUSY! We ended the week with Color Wars and our HOCO pep rally. National Honor Society surprised 12 elementary students with mums and garters for the day of Homecoming. It is so fun to see the entire district come together to make it a great day to be a Mustang!

Yee Haw! Homecoming festivities continued yesterday with Western Day. Our kids and staff continued to show up and show out. Stay tuned today for Color Wars!
Wow! What a successful parade, carnival, and bonfire. City View HOCO is back in full force! We want to extend a very special shoutout to Suzanne Long, Karly Patty, and Kayla Campos for organizing these events. Thank you to the WFFD for coming out to make sure we kept the bonfire safe and the City View PD for helping to manage the crowd and traffic. We could not do what we do without the community support. Thank you!
We can't wait for Friday! Our homecoming court debuted at the parade yesterday. Please join us on Friday night at halftime for the crowning of the king and queen! Kickoff is at 7:30!
Homecoming Events
HOCO week has officially kicked off with Twin Day! We have all sorts of twins between the elementary and secondary. As a reminder, tomorrow is Western Day! We can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
It's that time of the year again! Homecoming week is upon us. Please see the graphic below for all dress up days.
Some events to put on your calendar for this week:
-Monday, school is OUT for students. Teachers will be available from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM for parent/teacher conferences.
-Wednesday there will be the HOCO parade starting at 6:00 PM, followed by the carnival and bonfire.
-Friday your City View Lady Mustangs will face Bowie in the gym starting at 4:30.
-Your City View Mustangs will kick off against Callisburg at 7:30.
-HOCO King & Queen will be announced during halftime.
