A couple of updates this morning-
We will not be serving breakfast this morning. We will be having pizza for lunch.
Parents of students who attend the Y after school care- the Y has modified their previous decision. They will be open and will be providing childcare after school today.
This Mustang Award Winner got caught being Kind!
Parents, your kids have been stuck inside the house the last few days. Get them out tonight! It’s City View night at Chuck E Cheese. These fliers have been sent home with the kids. Use them tonight and help out our school.
Parents who have children attending the Y childcare after school- at this time the Y will be closed tomorrow. You will need to make other arrangements to pick up your students at dismissal.
Tonight’s PTO meeting has been canceled. We will send out notifications once it is rescheduled.
City View ISD will release at 2:00 pm today. Busses will run at 2:00 but we would ask you to come pick your child up at the school if at all possible, to keep our bus routes to a minimum.
Parents, the YMCA and Tadpole Academy have notified us that they are canceling today. You will need to pick up your children or make other arrangements

Thur, Feb 2 is City View Elementary night at Chuck E Cheese. The school receives a portion of all sales. Students will be coming home with this flyer which contains some great coupons. Make plans to join us!
PTO will have a meeting at 6:00 on Monday, Jan 30 in the elementary cafeteria
There will be a menu change to Friday’s breakfast. Students will be served breakfast pizza.

Mrs. Pearson’s class did some fun science experiments with snow today
3rd-5th grade students read or listened to Bluebonnet nominee books last semester. They are now eligible to vote on Bluebonnet book nominees and help determine the award winners. Students were treated to the Woot Woot cart today to celebrate
We have received a message from Tadpole Daycare. They will not be picking up students today. Please make alternate arrangements for your children if they normally go to Tadpole.
Parents, please feel free to pull up and drop kids off at the kindergarten wing this morning. They won’t have to walk very far in the cold rain this way
