There is no school for staff and students Monday September 2nd!

What a great first week of school! We had our house system draft! Our 5th graders took our PreK students to the science lab. We also showed school spirit on our Football Thursday/House Day! It's a better View as a Mustang!
Science Club is BACK! This club is for 3rd-5th grade students. Parents be on the lookout for information going home this week! Mrs. Hutson and Ms. Dodson will be this years science coaches!
Fridays we have started a new rotation with our specials schedule. We believe in character and discipline. One Friday per month students will get Character Education and Makings mustangs.
Character education will learn about values. Making Mustangs will learn manners. Today students learned about Wisdom and how to shake hands.

City View Elementary Meet the Teacher is tomorrow! We will meet in the Donna Douglas Gym at 3:45pm. We will have a short Title 1 meeting, introduce teachers, and pass along some information. Parents and students will then be released down the halls to go meet their students teacher!
