The HERD Mustang Ambassador Program -Best Is the Standard- We are excited to announce the launch of The Herd – Mustang Ambassador Program for incoming 4th and 5th grade students! This initiative is designed to grow tomorrow’s leaders by giving them the tools, experiences, and confidence to lead with purpose. What to Expect: Full Day Leadership Summit in August (TBA) Book Study: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens Hands-on leadership training: How to shake hands and make a strong first impression Interviewing skills Greeting guests with confidence Public speaking tips And more essential leadership techniques! Ambassadors will also: Welcome and greet new students and families throughout the school year Participate in community service projects that build character and give back to our community This is a great opportunity for students who want to grow, serve, and lead both now and in the future. Our Kindergarten Senior Walk took place yesterday! One of the most cherished traditions at City View! Watching our little graduates walk the halls filled with pride and excitement was a moment to remember. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

PreK , Head Start , and Kindergarten Round up! Round 2! May 27th-29th. Office will be open from 8am-4pm everyday. We will be open late on Wednesday the 28th until 5:30pm. Head Start Staff from Region 9 will be present on May 27th for enrollment.

After today, the Boys and Girls Club will be closed until May 27. If your child normally goes there after school, please make sure they know how to get home tomorrow and Thursday. Remember, Thursday is early release for the last day of school! EC-2nd will be dismissed at 11:30 and 3rd-5th at 11:45.

Pre-K – 2nd Grade Field Day is Tomorrow! We’re excited to celebrate Field Day with our Pre-K through 2nd grade students tomorrow on the Elementary Campus! Events will begin around 9:00 AM and should wrap up by 12:00 PM. Kona Ice will be on campus, and students may bring money if they would like to purchase a snow cone. If you plan to check your child out after Field Day, please do so directly with their homeroom teacher. Please have your child wear their Field Day Shirt! We’re looking forward to a fun and active day with our littlest Mustangs!

Today was a first! We celebrated our outgoing 5th grade class as they enter their junior high careers. We decided months ago to give these students a graduation since they didn't get one in Kindergarten due to COVID. Thank you to our PTO for partnering with us to make this special moment. This might be a new tradition!

5th grade got to go on a Field Trip to Mineral Wells fossil park. They had a great time!
