SHAC is the Student health advisory council that will meet 3-4 times a year. The committee consists of school staff, administrators, school nurses, parents, and students. It is also open to the community who would like to attend. The duties of the SHAC range from recommending curriculum to developing strategies for integrating curriculum into a coordinated school health program encompassing issues such as school health services, counseling services, a safe and healthy school environment, recess recommendations, improving student fitness, mental health concerns, and employee wellness.
The Meetings for 2022-2023 dates are November 7th @3pm and January 16th at 3:30 at City View High School.
