Hello everyone! My name is Cierra Rose Bentley and I am from Kennedale, Texas. During my time in Kennedale, I joined the middle school band when I was in 6th grade and my main instrument is the flute. I grew up in my town’s band program. Once I reached high school, I was competing in every competition I could. I am a 4-time All-Region band member, a 3-time All-Area band member, and a 2017 Texas All-State band member. I also enjoyed being a member of the leadership team at my high school as well. Once I graduated, I moved to Wichita Falls to attend Midwestern State University. I was originally a nursing major and left the program after two years to become a music education major. I joined the MSU Texas Golden Thunder Marching Band and became their drum major for two years. I also performed in various ensembles and straightened my knowledge of other instruments. During my time away from music, I enjoy camping, traveling, baking, reading, and gardening. I am the youngest of four girls and both of my parents are enjoying their retirement in Jefferson, Texas. I have a black pointer/retriever mix named Olive. I also recently adopted an orange tabby kitten named Mango.

I’m so excited to be a part of the City View ISD band program/family. I can’t wait to see all of the things we accomplish this year!
